An 18-wheeler operator inadvertently made a new drive-through window for a Schuylkill County pizza restaurant early Monday.
Police said the tractor trailer, operated by 61-year-old James Mitchell of Ringtown, hit a patch of ice on southbound Route 61 in West Brunswick Township around 2:45 a.m.
The trailer hit the center divider and the impact blew out the driver side outer trailer tires.
The rig then crossed over into the northbound lane of Rt. 61, went into the Russo's Pizza Den parking lot, hit an unoccupied SUV before coming to a rest inside the restaurant's dining area.
Mitchell was wearing a seat belt and apparently was okay.
There's no word on the extent of damage to the business.
