Fire cancels classes at Cleveland Elementary in Allentown

Crews are on the scene of a working fire Tuesday morning at an elementary school in Allentown.

The fire was reported around 7:15 a.m. at Cleveland Elementary at 424 N. 9th Street.

Initial reports say there is smoke showing from the building.

School officials say school will be closed for the day for Cleveland students so crews can assess the damage.

No students were in the building at the time the fire broke out.

No injuries have been reported.

There's no word on what may have started the fire.
