Cold to blame for water main break in Pottstown

Officials in Montgomery County said Monday's cold weather is to blame for a water main break.

We're told some Pottstown residents could be temporarily without water as crews work to repair the damaged line in the 800 block of East High Street.

The break happened Monday afternoon. Officials said water service could be temporarily halted for about seven homes in the 700 block of East High Street.

A boil-water advisory is also in effect for those homes.
