Berks horse breeder dies after horse kicks her

A well-known horse breeder in Berks County died Monday after being kicked by one of her horses.



State Police say 64-year-old Suzanne Eves was found dead in her horse barn in the 500 block of Charming Forge Road in North Heidelberg Township.


The coroner says the death was accidental.


According to an article in "The Arabian Sport Horse Magazine" -- Eves was named the U.S Equestrian Federation Arabian Breeder of the Year in 2012.
