Amber Alert issued for Delaware child

An Amber Alert has been issued for a three-year-old girl from New Castle, Delaware.



Police say three-year-old Elinor Trotta was taken from her home by her father, Michael Trotta.


They say he assaulted the child's mother, then took the little girl.


Michael Trotta is believed to be driving a 1989 gray Mazda 626, with Delaware license plate 247457


Police believe he may be on his way to New York City, and say the child is in danger.
