National beef recall impacts Wegman's

A ground beef recall includes packages purchased at Wegman's.


J&G Foods issued the recall today.


They said packages of organic ground beef could have small strips of plastic in them.


The packages have a use-or-freeze-by date of January 16th.


Sales of the contaminated product ended yesterday and began the end of December.


J&G says this batch of ground beef was sold in Wegman's stores in Pennsylvania.

Wegman's has locations in Allentown, Hanover Township and Lower Nazareth Township.
