A cold front from the west is approaching the area bringing occasional rain and drizzle today, so keep the umbrella handy.
Otherwise, look for mostly cloudy skies along with mild temperatures in the low 50s once again.
The front will push off to the south on Monday allowing some cooler air to filter into the region after one last unseasonably warm day on Monday.
We are also watching a disturbance that is expected to slide by just to the south for early in the week. Depending on how far north it tracks we may see some precipitation sneak into the area, but as of now, we are looking to stay dry.
Tuesday is expected to be breezy and even colder with high temperatures topping out in the middle 30s despite partly sunny skies. The New Year will start off cold and dry weather as high pressure regains control.
Today: Occasional rain and drizzle. High: 51
Tonight: Considerable cloudiness. Low: 33
Monday: Intervals of clouds and sun; watching potential storm system well to the south. High: 43 Low: 26
