Dieruff boys off to a fast start

We are only a day or two into league play for area basketball teams, but we are getting an early sense of which teams can contend for titles, and some that certainly won't.The Dieruff boys probably aren't in either category yet, but they made an interesting statement earlier this week with a win. The Huskies went on the road and beat Becahi, and the Huskies did it by leading from basically start to finish Tuesday night. It was an impressive win for a team that was much better last year but just missed out on the district playoffs, and a win that they hope puts them on the path to this year's postseason.
