Car hits house and crashes behind another in Palmer Township crash

It was a violent car crash in Northampton County Friday night as a car hits one house and lands behind another.

It happened just after 10:00 p.m. in the 2100 block of Hackett Avenue in Palmer Township.

Emergency crews say the driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital.

There is currently no word on their conditions.

The homeowner says he was home when it happened and said the crash sounded like an explosion.

He says damage to the property is extensive.
