Allentown man who was shot isn't talking to police

An unidentified man who was shot Sunday afternoon, then dropped off at an Allentown hospital, isn't telling city police what happened.


The wounded man, who had been shot in the stomach, was dropped off at Lehigh Valley Hospital at 17th and Chew streets in the city at 6:07 p.m. Sunday.


Another male who dropped him off quickly got back into his car and left.


The wounded 33-year-old man, who was not identified, has been uncooperative about explaining what happened, report police.


Because of the seriousness of his injury, the man was transferred to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Township, where he immediately underwent surgery and is now in stable condition.
