Patty greaves, sergeantsville resident Shocked. Because i had to go through barricades to get into work, roads were closed and when they told me i just started crying.
Kathie verse, sergeantsville resident Its devastating because it was a wonderful close place to go to get a beer, a sandwich, or they have fancy dinners.
Reporter People were looking for anything they could salvage. The stone building has been standing since the 1700's... Employees say many of the archives went up in flames.
GREAVES George Washington ate and slept here, so it is a landmark. Its a historic landmark.
Reporter Employees who worked at the restaurant stood in shock... Hugging and thinking about the place some have worked for many years.

Kearns iiii think for many people its been a destination to celebrate anniversaries, special occasions, or just to come meet with friends.So i think the whole county is reeling from this loss.
