Man shot in Pottstown on Christmas Eve

A Christmas Eve shooting in Pottstown leaves one man in the hospital and police searching for answers.

At 10:30 Wednesday night, the Pottstown Police Department responded to a call of shots fired in the 300 block of Walnut Street.

After arriving on scene, police were notified by Pottstown Memorial Medical Center that the victim was already at the hospital receiving treatment.

He suffered a leg injury and expected to survive.
