According to an E-mail from the Dean of Students sent to all students and staff, an Alvernia student reported an alleged sexual assault by another Alvernia student in a campus residence hall on Saturday morning.>>KAYLA HUEY:58There are so many supervisors and dormmates So it's really shocking. >>ReporterThe report is now being investigated. In the E-mail.. obtained by 69 News.. the Dean says he has notified everyone at the university of the incident because of a quote "concern for campus safety." He continues to say its an opportunity to remind all students that allegations of sexual misconduct will be addressed immediately with appropriate university and external resources.>>Huey :18we had to take those three sexual assault classes so we were all fully aware as freshman. >>ReporterHuey says what makes this report even more shocking...is that all freshmen were required to take 3 sexual assault prevention classes.
