Man acquitted of most serious charges in deadly shooting

A man charged in the shooting deaths of two men in Reading has been found not guilty of first and third degree murder.

A Berks County jury did find Steven Guzman Rodriguez guilty of aggravated assault and witness intimidation.

Rodriguez was on trial in connection with the shooting deaths of two men in the 300 block of Pear Street in January 2012.

Efrain Lopez Collazo and Geovanie Collazo Rosa died; a third person was hurt.

Two other men previously charged in the deadly shootings were both acquitted.
