Surveillance camera helps police make robbery arrest

Reading police said surveillance cameras helped officers make an arrest in a robbery Thursday night.


An officer monitoring the cameras in the 900 block of Cherry Street saw what appeared to be a robbery, police said.


Officers responded and nabbed Eric Carr, 33, after a short foot chase. They said Carr took money from a man on the street.
