Cal women knock off KU in NCAA Regional

The Kutztown University women's soccer team fell 2-1 (4-3 PK's) to California on Friday at West Chester in their NCAA Atlantic Regional opener. The Golden Bears season ends with 15 wins.


Kutztown's Diana Malanga scored the the game tying goal less than 4 minutes left in the game to send it to overtime.


But Cal goalie Meghan Jayes and the Vulcans were too tough in penalty kicks, pulling away for the 4-3 win in the shootout.
