Three people have been apprehended following the robbery of a convenience store in Berks County.
The holdup happened late Thursday morning at the Sunoco A-Plus at Pricetown and Antietam roads in Alsace Township, police said.
Officers later found a car believed to be involved in the robbery in the area of South 19th Street and Woodvale Avenue in Reading.
A man inside the car got out and ran into the woods, but police managed to apprehend him a short time later. Two women in the car were also taken into custody. A gun was recovered at the scene, police said.
Officers from Amity, Central Berks Regional, Muhlenberg, Reading and state police are involved in the case.
