Fatal accident in Schuylkill County

State Police in Schuylkill County say a single vehicle accident has turned fatal.

The crash occurred in the unit block of Stone Mountain Road in Wayne Township around 9:30 Friday night.

Police say a 22-year-old driver drove off a road and into a tree.

One passenger, 22-year-old Daniel Mack of Tremont, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and another passenger were transported by helicopter to Reading Hospital.

There is currently no word on their conditions.
