Two of the entertainment industry's most successful comedians are set to share the stage in downtown Reading this spring.
Louie Anderson and Rita Rudner will perform their acts at the Santander Performing Arts Center on May 3, starting at 7:30 p.m.
Anderson is known to share the comedic ups and downs of his childhood experiences as one of 11 children growing up in St. Paul, Minnesota; Rudner is known for her epigrammatic one-liners.
She is also a bestselling author and award-winning television personality, screenwriter, playwright, Broadway dancer and actress. Rudner's solo show at The Venetian in Las Vegas is the longest-running in the city's history.
Anderson is also an actor, author and television host. He made his network debut as a standup comedian on The Tonight Show in 1984.
Tickets for the show will go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. at the Santander Arena box office and online and by phone through Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000.
