Two-alarm fire in Marion Township sends one person to the hospital

A two-alarm fire at a home in Marion Township, Berks County has sent one person to the hospital.

Officials say the fire broke out at 48 Main Street in Marion Township off of Route 422 around 8 a.m. Saturday.

Fire crews arriving on scene say flames were seen coming out of every window.

Officials say one person was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The identity of the victim remains unknown.

Officials say damage to the home is extensive and that a cause is unknown at this time.
