Temps drop to zero overnight, cold Saturday, snow Sunday

A clear and cold night on tap with temperatures dropping down close to zero. Shouldn't feel as harsh with relatively light winds.

This weekend will start out chilly too with highs staying in the 20s on Saturday despite plenty of sunshine.

Sunday will be a bit warmer, but by the afternoon we will have to watch our next system which will push snow, ice and perhaps rain into the area late Sunday afternoon through Sunday night.

Slick spots are possible prior to the Monday morning commute. We can expect some snow/ice accumulations Sunday afternoon to Monday morning, around 2-4" of snow is possible for northern Berks & northern Lehigh and then 1-2" is possible for southern Berks & southern Lehigh. Totals will be dependent on the duration and how fast we mix with ice/rain.

We'll continue to monitor the details of that system over the next couple days so stay tuned for the very latest.

Tonight: Mainly clear and bitterly cold. Low: 0

Saturday: Plenty of sunshine, still cold. High: 28

Saturday Night: Very cold with increasing clouds. Low: 9
