Ronald Rossi won't seek another term as sheriff

Ronald Rossi, who has been Lehigh County's sheriff for almost a quarter century, does not intend to seek a seventh term.


Rossi, who has been in office for 24 years, has decided he will not run for another term, according to a spokesman in the sheriff's office.


Rossi retired after a 29-year career with Pennsylvania State Police. He became well known serving for 25 years as a “safety education specialist,” where he presented safety education programs to school students in, Lehigh, Northampton and Bucks counties.
