A bill named after a mother who died at the Berks County Jail is moving forward.
The Pennsylvania House signed off on Eileen's Law on Wednesday.
The bill is named after Eileen DiNino, who died last June while serving a two-day sentence for her children's truancy violations.
Eileen's Law would allow judges to sentence truancy violators to parenting training or community service.
