Storm system approaching from the South will be impacting our area today. Look for cloudy skies along with some rain and drizzle at times. A bit of freezing rain may affect parts of the area at the start of the precipitation, but the majority of the event will just be rain.
Icy conditions could stay longer in the Poconos but transitions to just rain as temperatures warm to above freezing. Highs today will get into the lower 40s.
By Sunday evening most of the precipitation should be coming to an end as the storm system quickly pulls away. Windy conditions will take over on behind the system on Martin Luther King Day (Monday) causing our highs in the upper 30s to feel much colder despite a mix of sun and clouds.
