If seven is your lucky number, you may have been one of thousands of players to win the Pennsylvania Lottery's The Daily Number drawing on Monday evening.

The winning numbers of 7-7-7 resulted in a total payout of $5,589,275 to 22,547 winners, lottery officials announced Tuesday.

A 50-cent wager on The Daily Number pays $250; a $1 wager pays $500.

Triple sevens have been drawn 23 times since The Daily Number drawing began in March 1977, officials said. The last time was on May 21,2013.
