Salisbury girls to play Freedom for tournament title

The Salisbury and Freedom girls basketball teams picked up semifinal wins on Saturday in the Salisbury Holiday Classic. The teams will meet in the championship game Monday at 3:00.

The host Falcons coasted past Oley Valley, 53-33, to go to 8-0 overall on the season.

Salisbury's Meagan Eripret led the way with 23 points. Lindsay Bauer added another 11 for the Falcons.

Amanda Aulenbach scored 18 points to pace the Lynx.

In the early game, Freedom held off Hatboro-Horsham, 39-32, to reach the final.

Hailey Silfies led all scorers with 15 points for the Patriots.
