Parkland Volleyball team honored with national ranking

For the Parkland volleyball program, this year was a year to rember and cherish. The Trojans won another state championship, their second in just a few years time, and they did it this time with a perfect record. That's enough to get the MaxPreps folks to take notice. Today, MaxPreps was at Parkland to give the Trojans another trophy, this one for finishing the year ranked among the nation's top ten teams. Parkland's girls enjoyed today's festivities, although this wasn't something they had on their list of goals when the season began. It's a nice bow to put on the season and even better because it's unexpected.
