A multi-vehicle crash closed Rt 22 East in Palmer Township for just over an hour Monday night.
According to Northampton County Communications, the crash occurred at about 8:30 pm, resulting in a shutdown of the highway.
Several injuries were reported but the severity is unknown late Monday.
All lanes were blocked by the vehicles involved in the crash. The road was reopened at about 9:45pm.
