Fire strikes vacant home for 3rd time this month

Officials say crews battled a suspicious fire in Reading Monday night.

It broke out around 10:30 p.m. at a vacant home at 122 North Fourth Street.

This home has been the scene of two suspicious fires already this month.

The fire marshal says at least 17 fires in the city have been ruled arson since September.

Reading police and the fire marshal are investigating.
