Fire broke out again on North Fourth Street Monday night, the site of several recent blazes that were all ruled arson.
The fire marshal and Reading Police were called to scene of a fire Monday night in the 100 block of North Fourth Street, in the area of at least three previous arson fires.
There was no information about the cause of Monday night fire, which was quickly extinguished.
A house in the 1000 block of North 6th Street was the scene of numerous fires set inside the home on Dec. 24. Officials said those have also been ruled arson.
On Dec. 24, fire crews were called to 114 N. Fourth St. around 8:15 p.m. on after a trash bag was set on fire outside. The flames spread to the porch in the back of the home, but were quickly put out.
Firefighters responded to the same N. Fourth Street home on Dec. 9. Both fires were determined to be suspicious, said officials.
