Then a little over two hours later at 11:30 p.m. in 200 block of North Howard Street, 3 suspects approached a pizza delivery driver. The robbers took 2 pizzas, a 2 liter bottle of soda, and an unknown amount of money.

In both cases, the suspects fled on foot and no one was injured.

Police say there has been an increase in crimes against delivery drivers recently.

That's why police are passing out flyers to restaurant owners to help keep employees safe.

Here are some of the tips:

1. Each driver should carry less than $20 on delivery runs.

2.Restaurants should keep their signs off of delivery vehicles to stay discreet

3. Drivers should always carry a cell phone and check-in with the restaurant before and after each delivery.

The two armed robbery cases are under investigation. If you have any information, you are asked to call Allentown police at 610-437-7753.
