Local Navy pilot lands plane at LVIA to greet loved ones

You may have seen a U.S. Navy aircraft flying over the Allentown area on Monday, but it was just for a quick family visit.

Navy Lieutenant J.G. Rob Roy flew a Navy C2 Greyhound plane into Lehigh Valley International Airport in Hanover Township, Lehigh County.

The Emmaus High School graduate thought it would be a fun way to visit his family.

Roy was able to show them the aircraft and grab a bite to eat before heading back to his base in Norfolk, Virginia.
