Police: Intoxicated pedestrian hit by truck in Bethlehem

A 23-year old man, whom police described as "intoxicated" was hit by a truck in Bethlehem.

Police said the man stumbled into the road where a mid-2000s, full-size pickup truck struck him near the Hill-to-Hill bridge.

The truck did not stop, police said.

It happened at about 8:16 p.m Tuesday.

Police describe the hit-and-run truck as grey or silver in color traveling in the southbound lanes.

The victim was transported to St. Luke's in Fountain Hill with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

The victim's name is not being released at this time.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and are asking anyone with information to call 610-997-7666.
