Police: 17-year-old girl shot in Reading was unintended target

The 17-year-old girl who was shot in Reading on Tuesday was not the intended target, police said Wednesday.

The shooting happened in the 600 block of North 11th Street.

Police said the girl was shot in the leg following an after-school fight.

The victim is expected to recover.
