Woman injured after being struck by vehicle in Franklin Township

A woman was flown to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Franklin Township, Carbon County.

It happened around 6:40 Monday night on Route 209 near Main Road.

Officials said the woman was in the southbound lanes when the vehicle hit her.

There's no word on her condition.
