Wintry weather makes its first appearance

Love it or hate it, the snow is here! Many areas of the region saw it fall - and stick - Thursday night.


Some area drivers are excited, others not so much.


While not everyone's crazy about it, some say it's pretty and they don't mind it this early in the season.


From New Jersey to Pennsylvania, the rain turned to snow, which fell and stuck, for the first time in a while.


The flakes made for wet roadways but covered cars and parts of the ground. It was met with mixed reactions from people who were out in the conditions.


Keep in mind -- there's still more than a month until the start of winter.
