It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Reading.
Public works crews installed the city's Christmas tree at Fifth and Penn streets Monday afternoon.
The roughly 50-foot Norway Spruce was chopped down in Egelman Park. It'll be decorated this week and lit during a special ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
The annual holiday parade will then march past the tree Saturday morning starting at 9 a.m.
69-WFMZ-TV is a proud sponsor of the parade. This year's theme is "North Pole Fantasy."
