Top News : Police search for man who robbed a Carbon County bank

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a bank robbery in Carbon County.

Authorities said the robbery occurred around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon at the Jim Thorpe National Bank in Penn Forest Township.

A white male wearing dark clothing and a mask entered the bank by smashing a glass security door.

The suspect approached three working tellers, demanded cash and fled the scene with an undetermined amount.

He left back through the smashed door and across Route 903.
