If you're from a certain generation, the music of Bob Dorough probably shaped your early education.
For more than a decade, Dorough was the man behind the music of "School House Rock."
The Saturday morning children's program covered topics ranging from grammar to government.
The now-90-year-old, who lives in Monroe County, gave nearly 400 Bethlehem students a 45-minute schoolhouse concert at Moravian College's Foy Hall.
"They're a lot more sophisticated," Dorough said of kids today, "but the basic thinking is the same because they want to sing along, and that is always true."
"I was thinking of coming home and listening to the "We the People" one. I've never heard it and it would be fun learning like that," said one eighth grade student.
As the show proved, the tune's aren't set to go out of style anytime soon.
