Top News : Babysitter heading to trial on attempted murder charges

A woman is heading to trial on charges she assaulted a 14-month-old she was babysitting in northwestern Berks County.

Lisa Weiler waived her preliminary hearing Wednesday morning.

Authorities said Weiler admitted to abusing a 14-month-old child in Bethel Township. She'd been babysitting the child since May.

Weiler has two children and is pregnant with a third. She remains locked up on $500,000 bail.
