Man killed after being struck by vehicle in Bethlehem

Police say a man was killed after being struck by a car in Bethlehem Tuesday night.

Chief Mark DiLuzio of Bethlehem Police said the accident occurred shortly after 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Union Boulevard.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

DiLuzio said the man driving the striking vehicle remained on scene and was being questioned by police.

The intersection of Main and Union remains closed while police investigate the accident.
