A preliminary hearing has been postponed for a Chester County couple charged in the torture death of the woman's 3-year-old son.
Jillian Tait and Gary Lee Fellenbaum III are accused of shopping, napping and eating pizza as the boy lay dying in their mobile home on Nov. 4.
Scott McMillan was hung upside and whipped and beaten with a frying pan before his death, authorities said. His 6-year-old brother was also abused, they said.
Fellenbaum, 33, and Tait, 31, are charged with first and third degree murder. The couple met while working at Walmart and moved in together about a month earlier, officials said.
Fellenbaum's estranged wife and infant daughter also lived there. Amber Fellenbaum is charged with failing to report the abuse.
No new date has been set for their preliminary hearing.
