A 37-year-old Chester County man was arrested on 251 felony counts Friday, including possession and dissemination of child pornography.
Ryan Beeson Meacham, who resides in the 400 block of Fairmont Drive in West Vincent Township, was investigated by Pennsylvania State Police's central computer crime task force.
The investigation began in early June, when state police determined a computer in Meacham's home was sharing depictions of child pornography over the Internet.
On Sept. 16, police obtained a search warrant and seized a laptop and desktop computer in Meacham's home.
After being arraigned on the charges Friday, Meacham posted bail -- 10 percent of $50,000.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 15.
