Two-car crash in Amity Township sends one person to the hospital

Officials say a two-car crash in Amity Township resulted in one person being taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

According to crews on scene, two cars were involved in an accident around 11:45 a.m. Saturday at Route 422 and River Bridge Road.

Officials say one man was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

One lane of Route 422 was shut down for about an hour, and River Bridge Road was closed in both directions.

Officials say the crash is still under investigation. Both roads have since been reopened.
