Two men are in a Warren County Prison Monday night after one was arrested for driving under the influence and the other for an outstanding traffic warrant.
According to N.J. State Police, Kyle Martinho, a 26-year-old man from Newfoundland, Pa was driving a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse on Rt. 80 West at approximately 8:20 p.m. when he was stopped in Hope Twp. on suspicion of DUI.
Police arrested and charged Martinho with driving while intoxicated, and they suspected heroin.
The passenger, Joseph Poliandro, a 28-year-old man from Hawley, Pa, the vehicle owner, was arrested on a $500 outstanding traffic warrant from Mt. Olive Twp.
Police said they obtained a search warrant for the vehicle and found 16 bricks of heroin and hypodermic needles.
Both men were charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both are lodged in Warren County Prison on $150,000 bail each.
