State Police investigate attempted homicide

State Police in Berks County are investigating an attempted homicide.



It happened around 4:10 p.m. Sunday on Lamms Mill Road in North Heidelberg Township.


Police said 24-year-old Anthony Valkosak IV assaulted a 52-year-old woman on the front lawn of their property.


They said he fled in a light green Jeep Grand Cherokee, but was later tracked down and arrested.


Police said the SUV was not recovered.


There's no word on the woman's condition.
