Tonight we begin our look back at the most *memorable* stories of 2014.
We're trying something different this year:
We're allowing our reporters to revisit the stories that meant something to them.
Will Lewis gets us started with the story of a Phillipsburg boy who beat the odds to toot his own horn.
The Jahmir Wallace Story is memorable and so inspiring.
Just watching how every one had a smile on their face talking about the then fifth grade student and how Jahmir himself never looked at the situation as impossible.
The one thing everyone wanted to do was make Jahmir Wallace's dream a reality.
"Everybody who knew him said if Jahmir wants to play the trumpet, we want him to play the trumpet," said music teacher, Desiree Kratzer, back in January 2014.
Wallace was born without any arms.
So making a way for him to hold the trumpet was key.
That's where Pete Diana, an employee at Dave Phillips Music and Sound, in Phillipsburg, New Jersey came in.
"At first I was amazed that he was that motivated to even try," added Diana. "I've cobbled together a bunch of different customs things over the years, so I was immediately interested in giving it a shot."
Once the stand was built, Jahmir did the rest of the work.
"I kind of felt excited," said Wallace back in January 2014. "I kind of felt like oh man this is kind of comfortable and it kind of felt like this might be the one for me."
Practicing and then finally the fifth grade winter concert at Green Street Elementary School.
Since playing those notes and singing his favorite song in January.
Jahmir Wallace's story has gone worldwide.
Just type his name on an internet search and you see the story shared all across the nation and even overseas as far as the country of Moldova, near Ukraine.
A kid inspired by Stevie Wonder, a musician whose favorite song is, "I believe I can fly."
A boy that inspired everyone to live their dreams and always strive for the best.
"Anybody out there that would like to try an instrument, go ahead and try it," added Wallace. "You never know, if you like it, you like it, if you don't, you don't. Keep trying."
Wallace is now attending Phillipsburg Middle School.
So far no word on what amazing things he will do next.
