There is plenty of local representation in the semifinals of Bethlehem Catholic's 47th Chirstmas City Tournament.
The host Golden Hawks lead the team race with 113.5 points.
In the 132 pound quarterfinals, Schuylkill Valley's Josh Giorgio topped Beca's Jared Papcsy on an 8-2 decision. There are big expectations for Giorgio in Leesport this year.
At 145 pounds, Beca's Cole Karam defeated Dieruff's Ronald Nguyen 9-1 to advance to the semifinals.
Pius X's Michael Comunale pinned Dieruff's Carlos Rivas at 160 pounds in just over a minute to reach the semifinals.
Also at 160 pounds, Muhlenberg's Jacob Schultz pinned Upper Perk's Austin Bittenbender in 3:13 to earn a quarterfinal win.
At 170 pounds, Beca's Adam Soldridge took down Upper Perk's Trevor Weeks for the only points of the bout in a 2-0 win to advance to semis.
The semifinals and final are Sunday at Becahi.
