No matter what the weather will be on April 8, it's guaranteed to be a sunny day on North Sixth Street in downtown Reading.
Elmo and the rest of his furry friends from Sesame Street will be taking over the Santander Performing Arts Center to present their new production, "Make a New Friend."
The characters will welcome Chamki, Grover's friend from India, to Sesame Street. Together, they will explore the universal fun of friendship and celebrate cultural similarities, from singing and dancing to sharing cookies.
The show's producers promise a fun-filled, interactive learning experience, including up-close and furry interactions on the audience floor.
Two shows are scheduled for Wed., April 8. The first will begin at 10:30 a.m.; the other at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for both performances will go on sale at the Santander Arena box office on Wed., Dec. 17, at 10 a.m. They're also available online or by phone through Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000.
Sunny Seats packages, featuring premium show seating and a pre-show meet-and-greet with Elmo and another Sesame Street friend, are available for $52.
Other tickets range in price from $16 to $21.
