Roman Catholic and Martin Luther King advanced to the PIAA Class AAAA boys semifinals on Saturday night with wins over Pennsbury and Plymouth-Whitemarsh respectively.
Roman Catholic edged Pennsbury in the early game at Norristown, 58-57, behind Nazeer Bostick tallied 11 points for Roman while Pennsbury's Mekhi Bryant scored 14.
In the night cap, Martin Luther King pulled away from P-W, 59-43. P-W's Andre Walker scored 20 point, hitting the 1000th of his career in the process.
But King was too tough all night behind 12 points from Ladji Fofana.

The Berks Catholic girls basketball team advanced to the PIAA Class AAA semifinals on Saturday following a convincing win over West Perry in the quarterfinals.
BC used a dominant defensive effort in the 38-20 victory. Devon Merritt and Courtney Wensel led all scorers with 14 points. Both had double-doubles as well to pace the Saints.
Berks Catholic awaits the winner of Blackhawk and Chartiers Valley out of District 7.

Typically, the annual Bethlehem Parade of the Shamrocks is a rain or shine event.
But this year organizers say one of the biggest reasons for cancelling it was due to the number of participants that were not able to attend.
"It really would not have been much of a parade, and just for the safety of everyone," Jayne Ann Recker, Executive Director of the Celtic Cultural Alliance, said.
However the weather didn't stop plenty of people from coming out and enjoying a pint at McCarthy's Restaurant and Red Stag Pub on Saturday.
"If you stopped doing things for rain in Ireland then you would never do anything," McCarthy's Restaurant and Red Stag Pub owner, Neville Gardner said.
While major events like the parade are integral in bringing business to stores along Main Street in Bethlehem, some stores like the Moravian Book Shop, relied on their own events to draw customers.
"We still have people in town that came out for the parade," Janelle Lockett of the Moravian Book Shop said. "Lots of locals like to come in on a day just to say, 'hi.'"
Officials say Route 22 East is closed Saturday afternoon following a multi-vehicle accident in Palmer Township.
The accident happened around 4:00 p.m. Saturday on Route 22 East near Route 33.
Officials say three vehicles were involved in the crash.
One vehicle was overturned on its roof. Initial reports indicated entrapment, but those inside have since been freed.
According to officials, the ramp from Route 33 North to Route 22 East is also closed.
Officials say the extent of injuries remains unknown. Those with injuries were transported to local hospitals.
Cumru Township Police are investigating multiple gunshots fired outside a Berks County restaurant.
Police say the incident happened in the Rumba Martini Lounge parking area, located in the 500 block of E. Lancaster Avenue in Cumru Township, around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
According to an official press release, a Cumru Township police officer on patrol in the vicinity of the Rumba Martini Lounge heard the gunshots and proceeded to the scene.
Police say employees and patrons were questioned, but no one on scene was able to provide any information.
Cumru Township Police were able to locate multiple cartridge casings and blood in the parking lot.
Officials say a 27-year-old male assault victim was questioned at Reading Hospital, but the victim told police he was not present when the gunshots occurred and did not know how his injury happened.
No gunshot victim has been located or identified at this time and no arrests have been made.
UPDATE: Police investigating have revealed the shooter suspect as a "dark skinned Hispanic or black male in his early twenties, short to medium height, with skinny build, dark hair with braids/corn rows."
Police say the incident is still under investigation.

Allentown Police say they are investigating the discovery of an unconscious man on Hamilton Street in Allentown.
Police say the man was found around 4:30 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Hamilton Street.
According to police, the 34-year-old had severe facial injuries that were consistent with an assault.
Police have been unable to speak to him due to the extent of his injuries.
Police also say they found a car on the side of the road with all the doors and trunk open. It was a rental car they determined the man found was in possession of.
The man was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest in serious condition.
At the hospital, police say they found cocaine and marijuana hidden on his person.
The incident is still under investigation and a name has not yet been released.
